Landscaper Job Summary
We are looking for a hardworking and responsible landscaper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable operating lawn maintenance equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, and blowers.

The candidate can expect to work outdoors in a mix of weather conditions, and be able to perform maintenance duties to ensure customer satisfaction.
Landscaper Duties & Responsibilities

Operate lawn maintenance equipment such as lawnmowers, string trimmers, leaf blowers, hedge trimmers, chain saws, etc.

Use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, saws, hedge and brush trimmers, and axes.

Care for established lawns by mulching, aerating, weeding, grubbing and removing thatch, and trimming and edging around flower beds, walks, and walls.

Use leaf blower to clear walkways and pedestrian areas after lawn maintenance

Plant seeds, grass, trees, and shrubs, and apply mulch for protection, using gardening tools.

Properly store and handle all equipment, tools, sprinklers, etc.

Assist with installation and construction of landscape structures and hardscapes.

Assist with maintenance repairs to equipment, landscape structures, and hardscapes.

Assist with installation of irrigation systems.

Maintain irrigation systems, including winterizing the systems and starting them up in spring.
Landscaper Requirements & Qualifications

Previous experience in landscaping or groundskeeping a plus

Must be 18 years of age

Able to work independently

Must be able to operate lawn maintenance equipment such as lawnmowers, string trimmers, leaf blowers, hedge trimmers, etc.

Able to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 60 pounds
